what to expect

preaching

There are two realities about God that we hold to. First, He is not distant. Second, He is active. With these in mind, on Sunday mornings we open His Word to hear what He would have for us. We do this through expository preaching, concentrating on books of the Bible and walking through them together, explaining what it means in context and for our lives today.

worship

Our worship music is a mix of older hymns rewritten to new tunes and some more contemporary songs with rich lyrics, played on guitars and violin and cajon, and a variety of voices. We want our worship to point others to Jesus and focus their hearts toward Him. We also celebrate the Lord's Supper in the first Sunday of every month.

community

The life of the church is the community. You’ll notice a variety of people from all walks of life, that enjoy living life together. When you stop by on Sunday, you’ll encounter a welcoming and hospitable group. We have coffee and light refreshments, and enjoy talking and catching up with one another before and after the service. We look forward to meeting you! Once a month, we have a fellowship meal together after the service, and everyone is welcome.

children

Children are always welcome in our worship services! We have a family corner in the back of our worship center, where parents and kids can sit together during the service. We provide activity bags for the kids to work through during the service, a children's bulletin, and occasionally have a special children's message just for them. We do have a nursery space if for whatever reason you need to excuse yourselves. And we have a beautiful new playground for families to enjoy before and after services.
